This week I continued to make 7 round Granny Squares
My goal of making 4 a day was reached
In fact 41 squares were made
After much debating about what colours to use, the decision has finally been made. 22 colours in all, 16 Stylecraft, 3 biggan design, 1 rowan, and 2 king cole. I really did not want to mix wool with a acrylic blanket but the colours could only be found in wool and they give the blanket the balance it was lacking.
The blanket will be 10 x 10 squares with a border, making it aprox 260 cms square.
100 squares need to be made. 53 have been made in the chosen colours, leaving 47 more to make.
Bye for now I'm off to work on some footstools, more about them soon
Hugs Audra
P.S A big Thank you to Debra from Calico and Ivy, who helped me find the special missing colours,
Fingers crossed that this post will load, only been trying for a week and a half.
Hi there, Karen from Mix•Ture43 here,
I love your blog and the inspirational things you do, I've been following your exploits and antics!! This blanket will be beautiful. I love the idea of setting yourself a goal for how many squares you complete in a day, it is all to easy to have such a busy day that you don't manage to achieve any crochet or craft. Great idea, ill be borrowing that one! Pop over to my blog if you get chance - I'd love to see you. I'm new to this so trying to build up some 'buddies'. See you soon in blog-land! Karen :o)xxxxx

Thank you
Goal setting helps with the momentum and is fun
I do not always reach my daily goal but usually can fit in a catch up day.
Glad to inspire
