As I could not post my last post for over a week, this update is for the last 2 weeks.
Granny square total of 78 squares, 3 less then my goal number, but I finished our footstools
I then spent 4 days designing, cutting out and stitching bean bags for the boys. Took a couple of days off project to do some cleaning and granny squares, so now need to get back into the groove and sew the outer covers but the inner calico ones are all done.
Big boy's bean bag is plain denim and Boo is having......
The above colours, ran out of denim so had to make do with what was on hand.
Finished all the granny squares bar 3 in orange,for blanket. Unfortunately the orange is out of stock, so now have to wait for it to come, do you not hate that? I do as I tend to loose momentum, as the next project takes over. Will try to finish some U.F.O's ( unfinished projects ) .
Last week, worked on a coat from the above magazine for a friend, have done the back up to the waist so far. Tomorrow will try it against her to see if the length is right. More on that later.
Last night played with colours for Granny Blanket and made above square. Yep ! already have another blanket idea. I just Love the colour combo soooo very much, that all these blanket ideas keep jumping into my head. I can see them in Granny stripes, diagonal stripes, Big granny square, way too many ideas and not enough ours in the day.
I will end this post with a practice layout of the Granny Square Blanket.
What do you think of clustering similar colours together ?
Or should I try random ( did not take a picture of random ) sort of fell in love with the colours together

Lovely Audra, what a busy 2 weeks!! There are not enough hours in the day, I currently have at least 3 projects on the go, must get them finished!! :o)xxxx
