I love that we have some deciduous trees in the front yard, when you are so over the heat of summer, it is a welcome sight to see the leaves changing colour. Yah! cool weather coming at last.
Early autumn, tree's starting to put on a colourful show.
In all their glory, as they are now, soooo very pretty.

I have enjoyed the grey days, expecily the ones that bring rain, as we desperately need it
On the last day of autumn we had a frosty morning. Boo was so excited when the wipers scraped the windscreen " we have snow" he declared. We had to quickly drive to school, so he could show his teacher the little pile in his hand, that had, by then become water.
Even with above average rainfall this autumn, we still need more, as the ground is thirsty. Our dam is dry, as it has been for the last 2 years, maybe this year we will see it overflowing like winters of past
