Would you like to see my craft room ? Yes, if you are like me and like to see how people organise all their bits and pieces. Over the years I have done quite a few crafts and been big into them when they have been my passion, so it has been no small task to organise them, so you can find what you want when you want/ need what you do. I use mugg labelling, label everything, otherwise things disappear.
This is now (I recently rearranged the room) the main unit, sitting in front is what use to be our T.V unit, now it is relifed in my craft room. it stores, on the left is fat quarters of fabric. On the right is wrapping paper, ribbon etc. the middle has larger items that will be used to make something one day. This cupboard may be later moved to where my massage table is, but at the moment it is really handy to stand on when I go through my yarn boxes on the very top of the mainunit, I also put lots of junk/ works in progress/ stuff that needs organising on top
When you move the T.V. unit you will find soft Ikea boxes filled with, sewing fabric.
White draws hold scissors, sewing thread, embroidery cotton and other sewing supplies.
The next shelf has files of crochet patterns, crochet books, crochet magazines, doll making magazines, and doll patterns.
Soft Ikea boxes above hold soft fill stuffing, doll making supplies, oddments of yarn bought from Spotlight, and U.F.O's of the crochet variety .
On the very top in the black and white boxes is yarn, Yummy yarn. Black boxes on the far right, partly made cloth dolls.
Next wall around is my Beauty therapy area, decorated with both made by me, my girlfriend Chell and bought cloth dolls.
This window wall is home to the sewing machine and over locker. Sorry about the window glare, it is 5pm and it is still very bright out there.
View out of window.
This is the final side if the room, home to card making supplies, glue's, spay paint, fabric paint, stamps and Lots ! of bits and bobs, way too many to list.
Hope you have enjoyed your visit to my craft room
Bye for now
Hugs Audra x
