Here is my flower cushion made using Lucy from Attic 24 pattern. This cushion was made just over 1year ago and started on the plane, while my man and I were going to Cain's for a funeral.
Everyone loves this cushion and so far I have made another for my Mum and must soon make one for Zara ( my niece).
I was also asked to make 2 in one colour for a Italian lady I know. These 2 took awhile to make as they had to be the right colour and size for her Antique Italian lounge her lounge room. After 4 attempts to get the cushion insert the right size and lots of fabric shop shopping to get the fabric to cover the insert the right matching colour, they were finished last week.
The yarn used was King Cole Bamboo cotton. I can not remember how many balls I used in the end, but I think it was 2-3 for each cushion with a 4 mm hook doing 15 rows of petals (including final row). The inert was a 21cm radius circle, that included a 1.5cm turning, made from quitting cotton fabric.
I love how they turned out
I also side stitched around the cushion and insert together, so the cushion and cover can not roll around.
Hugs Audra x
